Michelle's Midnight Melodies was born exactly that. For years Michelle searched for a radio show that did justice to her love of R&B, Soul and Urban from the 90’s and 00’s, but she didn't find it anywhere. No show brought together those sultry harmonies, those deep bass lines and that genuine emotion the way she envisioned it. So she decided to create it herself. With passion, dedication and a keen musical vision.

Every two weeks, on Friday nights at 11:30 p.m., Michelle takes you on HHZ Radio to a carefully curated late-night soundtrack. You'll hear the velvety charm of Joe, the raw romance of Jodeci, the intimate warmth of D'Angelo, and the powerful ballads of Tank. The classics of New Edition and Boyz II Men pass the review, as do female icons Aaliyah, TLC and Mary J. Blige-artists who shaped a generation and still sound like home.

But Midnight Melodies is more than a playlist. Michelle tells the stories behind the tracks, connecting memories with melodies and diving into the context of an era when slow jams, mix CDs and night radio made your world smaller AND more intense.
